My son Pietro is 5 years old and draws unexpected, original subjects far removed from any genre or style, subjects that can be redefined, renamed or recontextualized at will by himself or by those who are observing them.
In agreement with Pietro, my attempt was to bring to life one of the narrative possibilities tha his drawing offers us, trying to preserve its authenticity.
This little project turned out to be an important and enjoyable creative exercise that in some way brought me closer to that mental plasticity typical of children, a way of thinking and acting that inevitably transforms over time.
